The investment round was led by Acrew Capital, with participation from Positive Sum, Avon Ventures, Tioga Capital, Stillmark, Castle Island Ventures and others. The company told about its closure in December 2021.
The startup also introduced its own Casa API. Chief Executive Officer Nick Neumann cited privacy and flexibility as key benefits of the solution.
The Casa API will be released in beta testing mode in the summer of 2022 and will allow users to view the balance in the wallet after linking it to another app and transfer assets to their address in “one click”.
Recall that in February 2021, Casa raised $4 million during a seed funding round.
Earlier, the startup introduced a privacy-focused bitcoin wallet for startups.
