The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation has agreed on finalized bills on the regulation of cryptocurrencies. Reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the department’s press service.
We are talking about documents on “Digital Currency” and on Amending Certain Legislative Laws of the Russian Federation in connection with the adoption of the Federal Law on “Digital Currency”.
The proposals of the Ministry of Interior were taken into account in the drafts. It concerns the court-ordered detention of digital currencies in criminal proceedings and the creation of a special wallet to store confiscated and confiscated assets.
The department noted that the procedure for the execution of the confiscation decision by the stock exchanges and the solution of the procedure for keeping the confiscated assets are being worked on.
Earlier, it was reported that the Ministry of Finance, which developed the “Digital Currency” bill, supports a number of proposals from the Federal Tax Service, the Federal Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Second, he noted that the document does not fully regulate the execution of a court order exchange to confiscate cryptocurrencies and the creation of wallets to store confiscated assets.
The bill provides for the execution of transactions in digital currencies through Russian banks, the identification of crypto wallet holders and the separation of investors by qualification. In April, the Ministry of Finance made a number of changes to the document.
