The BNB Chain community has invited developers of the Terra ecosystem to build or migrate new decentralized applications on the Binance blockchain.
The initiative followed against the background of the collapse of UST and LUNA, which Forbes has dubbed the “fifth reboot” of the crypto market.
Teams were promised access to the bitcoin exchange community and partner companies. Developers can receive $1 billion in funding from the BNB Chain fund and rely on various grants. On top of that, network support, marketing, business development assistance and tokenomics.
The community was also reminded of the upcoming blockchain update with the arrival of BAS (sidechains for apps) and ZkRollup.
The number of validators on the network is also expected to double in the future, from 21 to 42.
Recall that in April Binance burned $740 million worth of BNB tokens.
