In Russia, they developed a system of covert screening of people in public places, designed to assess “the degree of danger of a person to others.” Yury Anoshko, head of the Academician Mint Institute of Radio Engineering, said in an interview with TASS that the security forces are already interested in the complex.
According to him, the developers “went much further than the function of identifying people”:
“We have developed basic profiling tools based on their online activity on TikTok, YouTube, VKontakte, Facebook, Yandex and other service platforms. The system allows you to create a profile of a person and assess the degree of threat to people with a combination of characteristics during the transition from the control complex.”
It also introduced a system for recognizing micro-expressions of the face and gait. It is based on a technology based on electromagnetic waves in the millimeter and terahertz range. The system is designed to inspect without stopping people.
Anoshko said that the complexes have already been ordered by some power structures of the Russian Federation.
Recall that last year the Russian authorities were interested in creating an artificial intelligence platform that could psychoanalyze a person based on records on social networks.
