Coinbase introduced the service in March 2022. Wallet will be the first third-party app to connect to the platform. Coinbase Wallet and Coinbase NFT are already working with it.
Integration will take place “in the coming weeks”. In the first phase, Coinbase Pay will be added to the MetaMask extension for desktop browsers.
Recall that in April 2022 MetaMask added the ability to buy cryptocurrency for fiat via MoonPay.
