Elon Musk’s deep fraud went viral on Twitter this week, “calls to invest” in an obvious hoax.

In a fake video, the head of Tesla and SpaceX “talks” about a new project that allegedly brings users “30% dividends every day for the rest of their lives.”

The scam was organized by the fake BitVex trading platform. Musk’s “voice” has been made so mechanical that it’s hard to fully understand his speech.

The billionaire himself also confirmed that the video is fake.

“Ugh. Of course not me,” he wrote.

Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus also commented on the low quality of the viral video.

“Anyone stupid enough to invest in this deserves to lose their money. At the same time, scammers deserve to spend their lives in jail,” he said.

Recall that in mid-February, YouTube viewers lost $ 1.6 million in cryptocurrencies in three days on fake broadcasts. Then the attackers edited videos from the old conversations of famous representatives of the cryptocurrency community and entrepreneurs. More often than others, images of Vitalik Buterin, Elon Musk, Changpeng Zhao and others were used.

In early April, Musk bought a 9.2% stake for $2.89 billion, making it Twitter’s largest shareholder.

It offered to buy the social network on April 14 for more than $43 billion, but suspended the deal after media reported Twitter’s viewership figures were inflated.

However, the businessman is still ready to buy. He described his victory over spam bots as one of his goals.
