According to the statement, regulatory approval will allow the company to offer consumers “a full range of services for the exchange of crypto assets.”
“Getting a Category 4 license in the Kingdom of Bahrain is a significant achievement for Binance and further demonstrates our commitment to being a compliance-driven company,” said Richard Tan, MENA Regional Director.
CBB granted Binance a license to operate as a cryptocurrency service provider in March.
The exchange also received a license in Dubai and in-principle approval from the Abu Dhabi Global Market Financial Services Authority as a digital asset broker-dealer.
Recall that Binance announced the launch of a regulated crypto platform in the Middle East in June.
