Some crypto exchanges announced the listing of the OP governance token of the Optimism project.

LBank trading platform has announced that the new token support will be implemented tonight, May 31.

Platform representatives announced that trading will begin in the OP/USDT pair once sufficient liquidity is reached.

The OKX website also posted similar listing information today, but was later removed for unknown reasons.

Optimism representatives have not yet determined the distribution date of the coins. His latest Twitter post looks like this:

Recall that the optimism team announced an airdrop at the end of April. The native OP token is intended to be part of the project management structure of the Ethereum L2 scaling solution.

During the first round of the airdrop, 214 million tokens were originally planned to be distributed to 248,000 addresses – 5% of the total supply of 4.29 billion OPs. However, the developers later reduced the participant list by 17,000 addresses.
