Binance Venture Capital has announced the launch of a $500 million fund focused on DeFi, NFT, games, metadata resources and social networks. Partners DST Global Partners and Breyer Capital writes The Block.
Funding was also provided by unnamed private equity funds, family offices and companies.
The build will support beginners at all stages of development.
Funds initially raised from the fund will be allocated to 14 participants in the fourth season of the Binance Labs incubation program.
The startup division has previously supported nearly 500 startups, including Polygon, Perpetual Protocol, and Dune Analytics.
Recall that in May, former Binance executives launched a $100 million fund focused on metadata sources.
Andreessen Horowitz previously built a $600 million structure with a similar focus.
