The funds raised will be used to improve the functionality of the NFT. P2E-WAX powered games, improvement of game tokens and updating of WAX Cloud Wallet.
According to VentureBeat, the number of daily transactions in the project network has exceeded 23 million.
Founded in 2017, WAX Studios has a team of over 100 employees.
OKX Blockdream Ventures is a $100 million fund focused on scaling blockchain projects.
In February, Newzoo analysts concluded that P2E models in games will become more common in 2022 due to developers’ desire to diversify their revenue streams.
Recall that in May, venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz announced the launch of a $600 million fund focused on “game infrastructure and metaverse technologies.”
In June, Japanese game developer Akatsuki Inc. Announced the creation of a 20 million dollar Emoote fund. The structure will focus on investments in Web3 projects.
