Fintech company Lighthouse and Tinkoff Business have developed a solution to automate operations. CFA between token issuers and investors. Reported by “Kommersant”.
The platform will work on the basis of nominal accounts. The same principle is used by traditional marketplaces to automate transactions between several people. This allows the account holder to transact with funds whose rights belong to another person – the beneficiary.
Data transfer between the Lighthouse platform and the bank will be carried out using Tinkoff API protocols.
The new technology is designed to simplify the initial sale of tokens.
“If an investor wishes to invest in digital financial assets on the Lighthouse platform, he will then be able to transfer funds to a nominal account opened by the CFA operator at Tinkoff Business. “The developers, the information system operator will control the transaction and, if in doubt, will transfer the money to the CFA issuer’s account,” he said.
Nominal accounts will make it possible to eliminate the possibility of issuing tokens without real cash payments and, according to the project participants, will make transactions transparent not only for market participants, but also for the Central Bank.
Tinkoff described the CFA as “a full-fledged analogue of stock trading” in hopes of “digitizing various deals to attract investments, factoring and managing receivables.”
Lighthouse LLC General Manager Denis Iordanidi added that using a nominal account in transactions with CFA will automate the payments within the information system, and thanks to the API, banks can refuse to create manual payment orders while making transactions. .
Recall that the CFA law was adopted in 2020 and entered into force on January 1, 2021.
Accordingly, the Bank of Russia keeps records of information system operators and exchange operators. Involvement in the first register allows the publication of the DFA, and in the second – organizes the exchange of these published assets in different information systems.
Atomyze, Lighthouse LLC (a partner of Transmashholding) and Sberbank initially hold licenses for information system operators. There are no participants in the second registration yet.
