Ukrainian monobank has imposed restrictions on withdrawals from cryptocurrency exchanges. This information has been verified by the bank’s ForkLog UA representatives.

“Transfers related to electronic currencies (not just Binance) are prohibited by bank rules, so such a payment cannot be credited,” the support said.

To avoid difficulties, the bank recommended that you do not create such payments.

According to Binance users, P2P transactions with monobank cards are progressing as usual.

In a comment to ForkLog UA, a representative of the Binance bitcoin exchange reminded that the National Bank of Ukraine has limited all transactions for the purchase of cryptocurrencies to UAH 100,000 to reduce the capital outflow from the country. per person per month.

“Probably some banks do not have the technical ability to control the limit, so they block all crypto transactions for fear of violating the limit. This applies to both direct cryptocurrency (half cash) and P2P purchases. No restrictions were imposed by Binance,” the exchange representative stressed.

PrivatBank customers also complained of a similar problem with direct withdrawals to hryvnia cards. ForkLog UA sent a request to the company’s press service.

As a reminder, PrivatBank has temporarily banned its customers from transferring hryvnia to cryptocurrency exchanges since March 16. According to the statement, the restriction is linked to the decision of the National Bank of Ukraine and is valid for the period of martial law. At the same time, the ban did not affect the Ukrainian bitcoin exchanges.

At the same time, monobank ForkLog told UA that cross-border transfers are limited, but there should not be any difficulties in processing hryvnia inside Ukraine.
