The exchange and cryptocurrency wallet operator Blockchain.com will offer domains to users in the “.blockchain” region from the provider Unstoppable Domains. They can be used to send and receive cryptocurrency transfers.

Unstoppable Domains is an NFT domain provider. Each name is a free token given in the Polygon network.

The user can bind the blockchain address to this identifier to facilitate cryptocurrency transactions. All transfers sent to the domain will be delivered to the respective wallet. This approach also increases the security of operations as there is no need to disclose the public key.

To get an ID, Blockchain.com users must join a waiting list. The company’s customers will also be able to purchase third-party domains and link them to their wallets.

Recall that in April, Bloomberg journalists reported on Blockchain.com’s plans to hold an IPO in 2022.

In March, the company was valued at $14 billion, following the results of its next funding round.
