Earlier in May, Green was the victim of a phishing attack that resulted in the loss of four non-refundable tokens, including BAYC #8398. The latter was supposed to be the character of the actor’s new series, White Horse Tavern.

The stolen “bored monkey” was then sold to DarkWing84 for 106.5 ETH (~$271,400 at the exchange rate at the time). The collector said in an interview with BuzzFeed that he “lawfully” bought the NFT stolen from the player.
Green, in order, threatening The DarkWing84 case. In the future, the parties accept about a personal conversation. It is unknown how the meeting ended, but the collector agreed to return the property.
According to Etherscan, Green transferred 165 ETH to DarkWing84 at the time of writing, over $286,000 at the exchange rate.
The OpenSea marketplace has flagged BAYC #8398 as associated with “suspicious activity”. This means that the token cannot be sold or bought on the platform. Therefore, the parties decided to make an agreement on the NFT Trader platform.
Recall that in May 2022, the Supreme Court of Singapore imposed a ban on the sale of NFTs from the BAYC collection as part of loan agreement proceedings.
