Analytical company Nansen has introduced Connect, an end-to-end encrypted Web3 messenger aimed at participants in the cryptocurrency industry.
The company emphasized that they see the digital wallet as a “form of identity,” so authorization in the app will be based on blockchain addresses.
“With Connect, users will be able to log in with their crypto wallets, choose a name based on Nansen wallet tags, join groups based on cryptocurrency ownership and blockchain transactions, send private messages to other users, and track key collection statistics and information. about holdings in real time,” says the press release.
In the future, the developers promised to add the ability to create separate channels for OTC transactions.
At launch, Connect will be available to analytics service subscribers and NFT holders from collections whose publishers endorse messenger as their main communication channel. The latter includes, for example, the Bored Ape Yacht Club and Doodles.
Recall that in December 2021, Nansen raised $75 million in a Series B funding round. Investors valuated the company at $750 million.
