Unidentified people posted a video online where Kazakhstani President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev allegedly talked about the “income support and increase program” for the country’s citizens during a meeting with Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance exchange.

A voiceover in the video states that Binance will “trade for you and you will receive payments directly to the card.”

The description of the video also says that program participants can receive 200,000 tenge per week. The video has over 600,000 views at the time of writing.

In a comment to ForkLog, Binance representatives emphasized that all news and announcements are regularly posted on the website and the exchange’s official groups on social networks:

“We recommend that all users only seek information from official Binance sources.”

Recall that in May, Zhao met with Kazakhstan officials, including the president.

During this visit, Binance signed a memorandum of understanding with the country’s Ministry of Digital Development, but there was no mention of any “income boosting programs” for citizens.
