London-based Jacobi Asset Management has listed a bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) on Euronext in Amsterdam.

Trading of the instrument under the code BCOIN will begin in July. No specific date is given.

Custody services will be provided by Fidelity Digital Assets. Flow Traders and DRW will act as market makers. Legal support was provided by Kennedy Van der Laan.

Jacobi Asset Management received approval from the Guernsey Financial Services Commission in October 2021 to launch the first Bitcoin ETF in Europe. ETNs are currently traded on the region’s exchanges and are structured as debt instruments.

Management cost will be 1.5% AUMThe minimum investment is $100,000.

BCOIN will be offered to institutional and professional investors.

The Netherlands will be the fourth country to approve the listing of a bitcoin ETF, after Canada, Brazil, and Australia.

Recall that Grayscale Investments sued SEC Due to its refusal to convert GBTC into an initial cryptocurrency-based exchange-traded fund.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission has yet to approve any application to launch a spot bitcoin ETF.
