On Sunday, July 3, an unknown owner of the 000.eth domain name sold it for 300 ETH (about $316,000). The transaction took place on the OpenSea marketplace.
The new owner’s collection now has at least three domains of the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) system:
- 000.et;
- samanatha.eth;
- samanatha-000.eth.
Among its NFTs is the Bored Ape Yacht Club 3553, which was bought for 115 ETH (about $121,000) less than a week ago.
Recall that Nick Johnson, the main developer of ENS, talked about the record performance of the distributed domain system in May 2022.
That same month, metaverse collectibles studio RTFKT acquired the dotswoosh.eth domain for 19.72 ETH.
