According to a ForkLog report, in June, the price of the second-largest cryptocurrency fell 44.8% by capitalization, and at the end of the quarter – 67.3%.

Over the same period, Bitcoin fell 37.3 percent. According to the results of the worst quarter for cryptocurrency (April-June) – by 56%.

Among mid-caps, Bitfinex’s Terra Classic (LUNC) and TerraClassicUSD (USTC), Stratis (STRAT), Chia (XCH), Bitfinex’s Trust Wallet Token (TWT) and Unus Sed Leo (LEO) performed positively.

The worst results were recorded by the hacked Voyager Digital (VGX) broker token and by Harmony (ONE) and Convex Finance (CVX). The digital asset of the protocol Lido (LDO), the issuer of the synthetic asset stETH, which lost its connection with ETH, also showed negative dynamics.

At the end of June, all DeFi tokens in the top 20 by capitalization were in the red zone. This trend was observed for the third month in a row.

Against the general background, the native token of the leading trustee exchange Uniswap somehow stands out. In June, its rate fell by only 5.26%. However, since the beginning of the year, the fall in the price of UNI has exceeded 72%.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading around $19,450 while Ethereum is trading at $1,100. Its total market capitalization is $916 billion.
