Samsung Electronics has launched the Space Tycoon virtual playground on the Roblox metadatabase. The initiative focused cymbalsthe company said.

The platform is located in the Samsung “space station” and research lab. In it, alien characters examine the company’s latest products.

The aim of the initiative is to introduce new customers to the brand and give them the opportunity to interact with each other. Space Tycoon consists of three main playgrounds:

• resource extraction;
• shop to buy game items;
• laboratories for the manufacture of products.

Using the extracted resources, users can design a variety of Samsung products, from smartphones to TVs and home appliances. More than 20 experimental devices are currently available.

“Space Tycoon was designed as a playground […]. We wanted to give Gen Z customers the opportunity to experience Samsung products in a way they’ve never done before,” said Jinsu Kim, vice president of the firm’s Center for Corporate Design.

The platform supports 14 languages. In the future, the company has promised to add additional features that will allow players to interact with each other and join private virtual parties.

Previously, Samsung had added its own crypto wallet to most devices in the Galaxy series.

Recall that at the beginning of 2022, the company announced the integration of NFT technology into new devices.

In March, the presentation of Neo QLED and QLED series TVs with a built-in non-tradable token market took place.
