French financial conglomerate BNP Paribas will launch a digital asset custody service. This is reported by CoinDesk citing its own sources.
Metaco, the Swiss custodian for institutional investors, will become the bank’s partner. In June, Citigroup announced that it was working with the firm to create a platform for storing and managing digital currencies.
Metaco is also a partner in similar ventures of Societe Generale, BBVA, DBS and UnionBank Philippines.
