Cryptocurrency ETP provider 21Shares has announced that bitcoin and Ethereum-based products are listed on the Swiss exchange. They have a built-in target volatility cap of 40%.

The parameter is obtained by dynamic rebalancing on a daily basis. As volatility rises, the share of US dollar-denominated cash rises as it declines as crypto assets return to a calmer trading flow.

The 21Shares S&P Risk-Controlled Bitcoin Index ETP and 21Shares S&P Risk-Controlled Ethereum Index ETP tools under the SPBTC and SPETH tags essentially replicate Standard & Poor’s respective indices.

Speaking to Cointelegraph, 21Shares ETP director Arthur Krause reminded that the historical volatility of major stocks on Wall Street is 20%, and 70% and 80% for Bitcoin and Ethereum, respectively.

“Zero-volatility cash and partial switch to ETP allowed them to limit their risk” explained.

total expense ratio instruments will be 2.5%.

SPBTC and SPETH will be the development of the “crypto winter” ETP line that 21Shares announced at the end of June.

Recall that in May, 21Shares and asset manager ARK Invest filed a new joint application with the SEC to launch the first cryptocurrency-based exchange-traded fund.

The regulator has yet to approve a single application to launch a spot bitcoin ETF.

Earlier, Grayscale analysts allowed the crypto winter to be completed by the end of March 2023.

Later, Glassnode experts calculated that Bitcoin was in the mid-term bottom formation zone for 35 days. In the past, this period averaged 197 days.
