Unknown people stole millions of dollars by gaining access to the funds of Solana-based wallet holders.

Blockchain auditor OtterSec initially reported that over 5,000 Solana wallets had been emptied within a few hours. The transactions were signed by the owners, which according to the researcher indicates the private key has been compromised.

PeckShield experts tentatively estimated the loss at $8 million.
