According to Etherscan, many transactions were made in the amount of 0.1 ETH. Buyers include EthHub co-founder Anthony Sassano, Loomdart crypto trader, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, TV host Jimmy Fallon, YouTuber Logan Paul and Randy Zuckerberg.
“This can create problems for buyers. For example, if ether is sent to the wallet of an entity operating in the United States, such as a crypto exchange, it may need to freeze the funds,” he said.
A Twitter user suggested the idea of creating an app that blocks unwanted incoming transfers to an Ethereum address.

Recall that on August 8, the Tornado Cash website and its associated 39 Ethereum and 6 USDC addresses were subject to US sanctions.
According to OFAC, since the mixer was created in 2019, attackers have laundered more than $7 billion in cryptocurrencies with its help. More than $455 million is linked to the activities of the North Korean hacker group Lazarus Group.
Circle soon blacklisted the USDC addresses of Tornado Cash wallets. Infura and Alchemy infrastructure platforms blocked RPC-Requests to the mixing service.
