Law firm Moskowitz has filed a civil suit against Mark Cuban in the US District Court of South Florida for promoting unregulated Voyager crypto products and participating in a Ponzi scheme with CEO Stephen Ehrlich.

Plaintiff requested that the case be heard by a jury.

Cuban has repeatedly misrepresented the firm, making dubious claims that it trades cheaper than its competitors and offers commission-free trading services.

The billionaire described the platform as “as risk-free as crypto can be.”

Cuba and Erlich […] offered to invest in the fake Voyager platform and open Voyager Earning Program accounts with unregistered securities. […] He counted on the support of the owner of the Dallas Maverick until it collapsed.” – asserted in the case.

Recall that the crypto broker filed for bankruptcy in a New York court on July 5, 2022.

A month later, the court approved Voyager Digital’s offer to freeze the crypto broker’s deposits at Metropolitan Commercial Bank to return $270 million to customers.

Company management hopes to complete the restructuring process in the first quarter of 2023.

In October 2021, Voyager announced the signing of a five-year partnership with the Dallas Mavericks.

Previously, Cuban predicted that crypto projects would disappear without “real expectations.”
