NFT gaming operator Animoca Brands announced that it has acquired Eden Games from Engine Gaming & Media. The studio is known for developing racing games such as Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed, F1® Mobile Racing and the Gear.Club series.

The deal totaled $16 million.
According to the announcement, the studio will work on existing and new blockchain-based racing games in the REVV Motorsport ecosystem.
Eden Games has long-term partnerships with over 30 automotive industry brands, including BMW, Bugatti, Porsche, Lotus, Pagani and more.
“With its quarter-century experience in creating high-quality motorsport video games, Eden Games will enhance and accelerate the development of the REVV Motorsport ecosystem and add value to the community and the racing metaverse,” said co-founder Yat Siu. and president of Animoca Brands.
Recall that in February the company bought the Grease Monkey Games studio for an undisclosed amount.
