One of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges crypto.com, came today with a big case. According to the details quoted by the Daily Mail, an Australian woman requested a $100 refund from the platform. But Crypto.com made a mistake and sent her $10 million in total.

Crypto.com contacted the woman to get the money back after noticing this incident in December 2021. But $1.35 million of that money had already been spent by the woman to buy a luxury five-bedroom house. The remaining money was transferred by the woman to other accounts. It was learned that a portion of $430,000 had been transferred to the woman’s child.

Crypto.com, upon learning of this, requested the court to freeze the woman’s assets. However, long before this application, the woman had her home registered with her sister who lived in Malaysia. Thilagavathy Gangadory had passed it on. The company then went to court against Gangadory and demanded the house money back with 10% interest.

The court ordered Gangadory to pay $1.35 million to Crypto.com and ordered the house to be sold. However, according to the reported information, Gangadory has not yet responded to this request. Crypto.com’s attorneys, on the other hand, declined to comment as the case is still pending. There was no news from Manivel and Gangadory.
