According to a senior executive, the Lightning Network represents “the most important thing to happen in the world of technology.”
The initiative aims to expand LN’s audience to “one hundred thousand users” or “opening 10 million wallets” every day.
Saylor explained that the project is at an early stage and it is too early to talk about its results.
“In LN, you can move much more aggressively in developing application functionality and taking risks compared to the baseline of the first cryptocurrency.” – said the bitcoin maximalist.
Recall that Saylor, who left the CEO position in August, promised to focus on “innovation and long-term corporate strategy” associated with digital gold.
In September, the former CEO of MicroStrategy was charged with $25 million in tax evasion.
Earlier, Saylor described the company’s decision to invest in bitcoin as the right decision.
