“The attack was neutralized at 16:34 pm (GMT +7) on September 1, 2022. The attack vector was successfully detected and eliminated on September 4, 2022,” he said.
According to the report, the incident affected two addresses. One of them was fully compensated for the damage.

“The second wallet sanctioned the malicious script and successfully canceled it before losing any funds,” Kyber Network said.
Recall that on September 1, hackers hacked the external interface of KyberSwap at the front-end level. Developers found malicious code in tool Google Tag Manager.
The exploit added a fake confirmation for the transaction, allowing the attackers to withdraw the user’s money to their address.
