The Sandbox team has partnered with Renault Korea Motors to offer users new ways to drive in the metaverse.
As part of the collaboration, The Sandbox will also support the automaker’s marketing programs for “digital-informed new generations.”
“This partnership is a great example of how Sandbox collaborations can cross industry boundaries. “We can deliver new types of services that connect cars and digital assets in a virtual world,” said Cindy Lee, CEO of The Sandbox Korea.
Since the beginning of 2022, Italian fashion house Gucci, British banking giant HSBC and the Hong Kong division of Standard Chartered have purchased virtual plots in the project’s metaverse.
In May, the Dubai cryptocurrency market regulator announced the opening of its headquarters in The Sandbox virtual world.
Recall that in July metaverse announced a partnership with South Korean bank KEB Hana.
