Uniswap protocols will not support any Proof-of-Work (PoW) Ethereum fork after The Merge. This was stated at Uniswap Labs, the organization behind the project.
Merging is coming, but Uniswap users don’t need to do anything. We support upgrading and have no plans to support forks in our web app.

The project team noted that the transition of Ethereum to the Proof-of-Stake algorithm will create potential problems for the operation of TWAP price prediction in the third version of the protocol.
At the same time, the possible launch of the second cryptocurrency network in terms of capitalization of PoW forks during the update could open a new attack vector against Uniswap due to the implementation of reauthorization for funds transfer.
“Ultimately, these are worth addressing given the minor issues and the benefits to the entire ecosystem. We are excited and looking forward to The Merge!” said the developers.
Recall that a number of major industry players, including the Chainlink analytics company, the Ethermine mining pool, and the OpenSea NFT market, have refused to support potential Ethereum PoW forks.
