Queen of Great Britain II. A day after Elizabeth’s death, dozens of meme tokens and hundreds of NFTs associated with her appeared on the cryptocurrency market.

In the last 24 hours, pairs with coins such as Queen Elizabeth Inu, Save the Queen, Queen, QueenDoge, London Bridge is Down and Rip Queen Elizabeth have been registered on decentralized exchanges on the BNB Chain and Ethereum networks.

According to Dex Screener, the Queen Elizabeth Inu traded on Uniswap for $235,000 with a market cap of $8,900. During the day, the price of the token is up 441%, but it is trading near zero.

The price of Rip Queen Elizabeth fell 87% on PancakeSwap. The daily trading volume of the token barely reached $1300.

The Queen Rescue figures look more impressive. The price of the asset increased 715% and turnover on Uniswap was $933,000.

The RIP Queen Elizabeth collection has appeared on OpenSea, the largest NFT marketplace. Each of the 520 coins represents an obscure image of the late queen.

At the time of writing, user interest in the assets is minimal, with a base price of less than 0.01 ETH ($16.9) and a trading volume of 0.08 ETH.

One Reddit user noted that the release of dozens of tokens dedicated to the queen is a “bad event” for the crypto industry. Quoted on r/Buttcoin, an anti-crypto thread with 135,000 members.

“Now imagine Musk dead,” one commenter wrote.

Recall that in 2021, US Congressman Brad Sherman joked about a non-existent cryptocurrency. It immediately became a reality in a few meme tokens.
