Cryptocurrency exchange Huobi will delist seven privacy-focused coins on September 19. It is stated on this blog.
The decision is about Dash (DSH), Decred (DCR), Firo (FIRO), Monero (XMR), Verge (XVG), Zcash (ZEC) and Horizen (ZEN). They stopped trading on September 6 and deposited on September 12. The exit option is still available.
“Huobi Global strictly adheres to the compliance policy of each country and region, and always strives to protect users’ assets,” the company said.
In 2021, it became known that the Kraken bitcoin exchange would cease trading XMR in the UK. At the same time, Bittrex stopped supporting Monero, Dash, and Zcash.
The ShapeShift platform previously delisted XMR, DSH, and ZEC. The company explained the decision with potential problems with regulators.
Recall that in February 2022, Huobi announced that it was returning to the US market after a hiatus of more than two years.
