Citing knowledgeable sources, Bloomberg wrote that avalanche startup Ava Labs has launched a $350 million funding round at a valuation of $5.25 billion.
According to DappRadar, 244 were launched in Avalanche dapps mainly in gaming and DeFi. According to DeFi Llama, the network ranks fourth in terms of the amount of funds blocked ($10.7 billion).
Avalanche (AVAX) ranks 10th in CoinGecko’s cryptocurrency capitalization rating with $21.75 billion. In the past 30 days, the asset price has increased by 18%.
In September 2021, the Avalanche Foundation, affiliated with the project, raised $230 million in a special token sale. The funding was led by Polychain Capital and Three Arrows Capital.
In 2020, Ava Labs raised $12 million from a private token sale and $42 million from a public token sale. The Avalanche mainnet was launched on September 21, 2020.
