On April 11, the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow arrested Dmitry Pavlov, who was named the manager of the Hydra darknet market.
In Russia, Pavlov is accused of selling illegal drugs on a particularly large scale.
The court’s detention order has not yet entered into force.
Pavlov will face 15 to 20 years in prison if proven guilty.
Recall that in early April, the court of the Northern District of California accused Dmitry Pavlov in absentia of conspiracy to manage Hydra, provide hosting services, money laundering and drug distribution.
Russian later said that American officials had not contacted him and learned of the accusations from a BBC journalist.
Earlier, the US Treasury sanctioned Hydra and the German police seized the market servers and confiscated 543 BTC.
