Bitcoin mining equipment is operated in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. The deal will increase the Hut 8 hash rate by 81 PH/s to 2.62 EH/s.
The agreement will enter into force on 1 May.
As of December 31, the company’s computing power was 2 EH/s.
