Binance Charity has announced a partnership with the Palianytsia Foundation to donate $500,000 for humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
The funds will be used to purchase and distribute basic necessities such as approximately 4,500 first aid kits and 20,000 food packages for frontline residents.
At the time of this writing, the Palianytsia team has raised more than $1.4 million. With this money, the fund bought ambulances, medicine, food, and also provided shelter to people who had to leave their homes because of the war.
Recall that at the beginning of the war, Binance announced that it would allocate 10 million dollars to solve the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. More than $7 million has been donated through Binance Charity, and the distribution of the remaining $3 million is being discussed with partners in the context of providing long-term assistance in cryptocurrency.
