NCEC Allowed all residents of Ukraine to use terminals for access to Starlink satellite Internet. This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mikhail Fedorov.
At the initiative of the State Special Communications Service, restrictions on the mass use of Starlink technology during the period of martial law were lifted. The terminal can be purchased by anyone.
The regulator also modified the Radio Frequency Resource Utilization Plan to regulate the conditions for operating satellite Internet from SpaceX.
Earlier, the State Service of Special Communications of Ukraine stated that it will provide citizens with access to Starlink Internet after the approval of the new technology. However, with the participation of Minister Fedorov, this process was accelerated.
Today, more than 10,000 Starlink stations participate in the transfer of intelligence information between Ukraine and its Western allies to maintain control over critical infrastructure.
