Company representatives noted that the main focus in 2022 is startups in the early stages of development – projects in the fields of Web 3.0, NFT and DeFi.
“Given the number of deals, we are considered one of the most active institutional venture capitalists in the world,” the firm said.
Coinbase Ventures has invested in more than 300 projects since its inception. At first, centralized platforms held a significant share in the company’s portfolio, but then meta-universes emerged, DAO and cross-chain solutions with other innovative Web3 projects.
Recall that in February, Coinbase Ventures invested in startups Everyrealm and Jambo.
