Binance NFT marketplace announced the launch of a collection of non-tradable tokens of Ukrainian football club Shakhtar. This was reported to ForkLog by company representatives.
The club will auction nine signed jerseys as part of the Football for Peace initiative. It will start on May 7 and will run for a week.
In addition to the items being auctioned, 10,000 NFT Mystery Boxes will also be available on the Binance Marketplace from May 7, priced at 10 BUSD each.
Proceeds will be donated to the Shakhtar Social Fund and Binance Charity Relief Fund. They will be sent to provide humanitarian aid to people damaged by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Recall that at the beginning of the war, Binance announced that it would allocate 10 million dollars to solve the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
In April, the exchange launched the Binance Refugee Card, a cryptocurrency card for existing and new users in Ukraine who had to relocate to Europe due to the Russian occupation.
