The amount of funds involved in the Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract has exceeded 12 million ETH (~$34.15 billion). This is equivalent to roughly 10% of the market supply

The amount of funds involved in the Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract has exceeded 12 million ETH (~$34.15 billion). This is equivalent to roughly 10% of the market supply of the second largest cryptocurrency by capitalization. This is evidenced by data from Etherscan and CoinGecko.

The deposit contract is the largest address in the ecosystem. The Wrapped Ethereum contract is in second place with a balance of 6 million ETH. In third place is one of the wallets of the Kraken exchange (2.11 million ETH).

At the end of April, the number of Ethereum 2.0 validators exceeded 375,000. The growth rate since the beginning of the year was 26%.
