Christine Moy, who heads the metadatabase department of the Onyx blockchain division at Bloomberg, JPMorgan, started working at Apollo Global Management with $450 billion in assets.

He received senior executive partner status and became head of the digital asset strategy department.

Moy left JPMorgan in February 2022 after working for the financial conglomerate for 18 years.

Apollo Global Management is involved in a wide variety of projects, including token ones. The initial purchase of cryptocurrency and other digital assets is not expected if there is no business activity based on them.

“We don’t just look at bitcoin, we also look at real use cases such as hedgers, securitization and marketplaces. We believe in the digital asset ecosystem and its potential to transform the financial services industry at large.” – said John Zito, deputy CIO of the company.

According to an Apollo representative, products such as lending, payments, insurance and content royalties are waiting to change. Digitally, securitization is also possible and KYCadded.

A firm’s investment typically ranges from $50 million to $250 million.

Recall that in April 2022, Goldman Sachs issued the first loan secured in the form of bitcoin. Prior to that, digital asset-friendly banks Signature and Silvergate offered similar products.

Shortly before that, a representative of the organization announced the start of experiments in the field of tokenization of real assets and NFTs in relation to financial instruments.

Earlier, Goldman Sachs experts called the blockchain the foundation of the metadatabase.

The potential of this market has also been noted by Bank of America, Citibank and JPMorgan. The latter opened a representative office of the Onyx blockchain platform in Decentraland in February 2022.
