Dubai-based crypto exchange Bybit has launched Bitcoin options backed by USD Coin (USDC). You can use funds in futures and margin balances to buy them.

Users earn on the future price of the underlying asset and the exchange closes trades in USD Coins. Bybit offers options with expiration dates of seven days, two weeks, one month, two months, and six months.

Buyers do not need to close the deal. The expiration of options contracts also occurs without trading.

“Our customers can’t wait to add options. We have identified a new level of service in the industry that will strengthen the crypto options trading trend, just as Robinhood did for stock options,” said Ben Zhou, Bybit co-founder and CEO.

Bybit users also trade collateralized futures and futures contracts in Tether, USD Coin, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Bybit is a platform for staking, DeFi mining, NFT and P2P trading, as well as crypto assets and derivatives.

The site serves nearly six million merchants at the time of writing. According to the rating of the analytical service CoinMarketCap, Bybit is ranked in the TOP-20 trading platforms in the world.

Recall that earlier Goldman Sachs announced the expansion of its cryptocurrency derivatives offering.
