Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse praised the company’s litigation process. SEC, allowing it to be completed by the end of 2022. He stated this in an interview with Fox Business.

Garlinghouse described the announced deadlines as optimistic. According to him, such an outcome is quite possible.

Ripple CEO noted the importance of the process for the entire crypto industry, as the court ruling will set precedent:

“The case went pretty well, there was a lot of fighting around the disclosure. However, it is clear that the judge understands that this is an important case and will set a precedent. We are now approaching a solution. By the end of November, everything will be before the judge,” he said.

The Ripple chairman criticized SEC Chairman Gary Gensler and said many of the points he made “didn’t make much sense”.

“Justice delayed means justice denied,” he says. Still, they filed this lawsuit against Ripple and tried to prolong the lawsuit at every opportunity. “We are committed to acting as quickly as possible and will continue to move forward as quickly as possible,” said Garlinghouse.

In January, Davis Polk law firm partner and former SEC official Joseph Hall described the regulator’s chances of losing the substantive case as high. However, he expressed his doubts that the process will be completed soon.

Recall that Garlinghouse allowed the case to be completed in 2022 in November last year.
