Samsung is preparing to launch its latest generation foldable smartphones soon. However, there were many rumors and reports about the new phones before they were officially released. And now the latest leak hints at the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 after images of its yet-to-be-released protective case surfaced online.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 launched with new hinges and improved cameras

According to a new report, a Chinese blogger has leaked the protective case prepared by the South Korean technology giant for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 model. This leaker shares live footage of the protective case. Looking at these images, we can see that the device will have a long, oval-shaped camera module based on a notch. There is also room for the front display, which is expected to be a 6.2-inch AMOLED panel with 120 Hz refresh rate support.

Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will feature a 7.6-inch long, foldable AMOLED display that supports QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Both panels feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for added protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which will be paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

It is expected to have a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The front panel, meanwhile, is believed to house a 12-megapixel selfie camera.
