The Nokia G11 smartphone was introduced in February last year. HMD Global has started rolling out the Android 13 operating system update to devices in the Netherlands. The software update will be available in other markets soon. As a reminder, the Nokia G11 comes with Android 11 out of the box.

Nokia G11 starts receiving Android 13 update

Users can manually check if their Nokia G11 device is eligible for the Android 13 update by going to the settings menu. The software update introduces new features, visual changes, usability improvements, and security and privacy improvements. Some notable changes include the Material You theme, quick settings panel, new animations and widgets, and more. By the way, the Nokia G11 Plus started receiving the Android 13 update last month, if you don’t know.

In terms of key features, the Nokia G11 has a 6.5-inch HD+ waterdrop notch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a triple main camera with 13 MP, 2 MP depth and 2 MP macro sensors. The device has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner built into the power button.

Inside, the Nokia G11 is powered by a Unisoc T606 processor. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card slot. It is powered by a 5050mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone is confirmed to receive OS updates for 2 years. It will also qualify for Android 14 as it is currently receiving the Android 13 update.
