iQOO, a popular Chinese smartphone brand, is preparing to launch the iQOO Neo 8 series in China on May 23. On the eve of the event, the company gradually revealed the key features of the upcoming iQOO Neo 8 Pro model. In a recent poster post, iQOO confirmed that the device will feature an impressive 50 MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. The camera will use the renowned Sony IMX866VCS sensor, also found in the Vivo X90 series, which is known for its exceptional photography abilities, especially in low light conditions.
While the details of the main camera have been revealed, iQOO has not yet provided information about the secondary cameras in the iQOO Neo 8 Pro. There is speculation that the base variant, the iQOO Neo 8, may also have a 50-megapixel primary shooter, but potentially a different sensor.
Additionally, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro will reportedly feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will run on the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset along with 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM. Storage options expected to expand to 1TB of UFS storage
