Motorola plans to launch the Edge 40 smartphone in India on May 23. This is the same device that the brand launched in Europe earlier this month. A microsite went live on Flipkart recently, revealing that the device will have the same specs and features as the European model. Now the price has also been announced.

A banner ad on Flipkart provided information about the prices and offers of the Motorola Edge 40 smartphone. According to a screenshot shared by Twitter user Karan Mistry, the actual price of the Moto Edge 40 is Rs 27,999 including all offers and is valid only. For customers to pre-order.

While the title did not reveal all the details of the offer, it did confirm that Edge 40 buyers will receive a Rs 2,000 discount on the exchange. Additionally, there is an option to include a screen replacement package for Rs 9,500. Pre-orders for the device are expected to begin on May 23, which coincides with its launch in India. Features of Motorola Edge 40

Motorola Edge 40 features a 6.55-inch curved OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a notch in the middle. Notable features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, 8-bit panel, a high refresh rate of 144 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. Dual stereo speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos enhance the sound quality and the device is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.

Motorola Edge 40 has a square camera module on the back. This module features a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) paired with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 32 MP front camera for selfies.

The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The 4400mAh battery supports compatible device with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The smartphone runs Android 13 operating system right out of the box.
