Apple’s fifth major update to the iOS 16 operating system iOS 16.5 started offering it to all its users. Looking at the notes Apple provided with the update revealed that no significant new feature was introduced with the update.
The main purpose of the update is to fix some of Apple’s apps and in general. fix bugs in the operating systemwas to increase safety and enhance the experience. The innovations and bug fixes with the update were shared as follows:
Comes with iOS 16.5:
- In honor of the LBTQ+ community and culture, a new lock screen Celebrate pride Wallpaper.
- Fixed an issue where Spotlight would stop responding.
- Fixed an issue where the Podcasts app in CarPlay was not loading content.
- Fixed an issue where Screen Time settings were resetting or not syncing on all devices.
In addition, the update fixes security vulnerabilities in the operating system. Three of these vulnerabilities were known to be in active use.
