Google Pixel 7a endurance test shows great results

Google’s latest mid-range phone, the Pixel 7a, has been subjected to a tough endurance test by popular YouTuber JerryRigEverything. The smartphone was announced earlier this month. One of the biggest differences between the latest offering and the flagship Pixel 7 duo is that the first one has a plastic body. However, the phone received surprising results in the endurance test.

The durability test begins with Zach scratching the Pixel 7a’s screen with a razor blade. Although the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, it scratches even more easily at level 6 and even level 7. The metal frame of the smartphone is also easily scratched in the scratch test. The metal volume rocker and power buttons are also removable. The phone can withstand fire for 25 seconds when fire-tested, but it also recovers quickly.

The highlight of the video is the Pixel 7a’s performance in the cornering test. The phone holds and does not bend, despite strong pressure from both sides. Even more surprising, the device has a plastic body, which, as Zack says, is still better than glass, which can shatter into a million pieces.

Google’s mid-range Pixel 7a outperforms the more expensive Pixel 7 Pro in the endurance test, whose overall integrity is compromised. Pixel 7a bend test result even better than recently tested ASUS ROG Phone 7 Ultimate

Coming to the key specs, the Pixel 7a has a 6.1 inch 90Hz OLED display and 64MP + 13MP rear camera. The device is powered by Tensor G2 SoC and powered by a 4300mAh battery with wireless charging support.
